Z told me to look at an alignment of three stars. All three in a row, with the middle just barely elevated above the star directly to its right. It slightly, and when I mean slightly, resembled the top row of Canis Major with Sirius. This is only to provide a visual reference for these stars were by no means in the region of Canis Major or Orion. Now using this as a reference, the UFO in question would be in the position of the star Sirius. Also, the last star in the alignment (on the left) was a greater distance--possibly twice the distance--from the others. The star on the right and the 'UFO' to the left of it (where Sirius is) were roughly 2" apart when I began to watch them intently.
Now remember: We had a fire going, not too large but enough to throw around a considerable amount of smoke.
I have given that fact much thought and have come to the conclusion that the fire and resulting smoke played no part in what was seen by both my friend and I.
As I began to stare intently at the middle 'star,' I noticed that it was flickering like many of the brighter stars and planets. Except, this seemed peculiar within seconds. The 'star' was not necessarily flickering as much as it was WOBBLING. Up, down, up, down, right, left, up, left, every which way! I could not believe my eyes. At some points it seemed to even close the gap between it and the closest star. Other times it would almost be pulled towards the farther star. I knew it was moving by using the other two stars--and those near--as anchor points. From time to time the movement of the 'star' was so noticeable and yet it still resembled a star in every conceivable way. Any person looking at the night sky would not have taken notice---unless directly focused on those three stars for a matter of time.
The more minuscule movements (back and forth) appeared as if it was a sort of training on maneuvering the craft. Like tests that the military would conduct on new technology. And this makes logical sense as well. If someone wanted to test out new technology undetected by the watchful eyes of society, why not mask it to appear as a star in the sky? This thing looked EXACTLY like a star. It was the perfect size, shape, brightness, etc. All was correct...except the movement.
Has anyone to date witnessed a star that can move and maneuver?
And maneuver it did! I am no crack pot, I am no mad man looking for fame. I simply saw something that my logical mind could not explain and wants to make sense of it.
The only conclusion my mind can draw: This was a very direct sign of intelligent life--ours or theirs. If it was ours, I can only assume that it was government/military tests on deep space or extremely high altitude craft (most likely created with the help of ole Almond Eyes) that we cannot know about. My reasoning for this assumption is based on the military-like maneuvers the 'star' was performing. It was like '3 clicks North, 2 south, 5 west, 3 back east, 1 south, 20 east, now hover.' And hover it did, because after we watched this thing for about 15 to 20 minutes that's all it appeared to do. It was as if the ship/star/whatever knew someone was watching and decided to "lay low until further notice." If it was alien craft, I would assume they were doing the same thing as if it were military. Even deeper, it could have been an abduction in which they allow human beings to control the ship as if in preparation for some event in which they might actually be required to manipulate an alien craft (Read Secret Life by Dr. David Jacobs). This is out there.
Whatever it was it stopped or at least appeared to stop for the remainder of our outing. Even as we left it was still hovering in place---which still was not exactly where it had been when Z first noticed it. This was about the same time my mind began discrediting what I had seen. My mind began racing to find suitable answers.--all leading safely away from that one frightful acronym--U.F.O.
1)The fire & smoke caused an illusion on the sky--this could not have been since no other stars were affected and, trust me, we were looking everywhere up there.
2) My strained eyes (combination of staring intently, the smoke, and dryness) caused some sort of focused hallucination on one exact point in the sky which just so happened to be inhabited by a star---C'mon! Get real.
3) Swamp Gas ---Fuck. Off.
4)It was a perfectly, regular star---that moves in a non -regular, all-too-perfect manner
5)It was a Unidentified Flying Object -- Check!
I don't mind if no one believes me because the only reason I am writing any of this is to keep record of what I've seen for my own personal benefit---my memory is shot! Whatever it was/is, it was magnificent to behold. Much like witnessing the devine. To see something so far, far away move to and fro is intriguing and captivates the imagination.
What is up there? Where does it all end? To what extent does life exist? And in what conditions and locations? Is this everything, here on earth?
I don't want to believe that, the latter. There is a paradise...somewhere. It has been said for centuries, if not millenia. There is a paradise to behold and some will behold it some day. Whether that paradise is worldly or interdimensional, only death will unveil that truth. We are only here to enjoy the ride.
So until that day:
